Mint Julep
3-finger pinch fresh spearmint leaves
½ oz mint syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 splash of soda
2 oz of Ron de Venezuela Santa Teresa Añejo
Muddle the spearmint with the mint syrup and bitters in the bottom of a rocks or Old Fashioned glass. Add the soda. Fill the glass with crushed ice and add the rum. Gently stir and garnish with mint sprig.
