Pork meatballs with orange and honey sauce*

Ingredients for 4 servings
For the meatballs
1-pound ground pork
1 clove minced garlic
1 egg
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon minced jalapeno pepper

For the sauce
1/4 cup of fresh orange juice
The grated peel of 1 orange
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of minced fresh cilantro

Preparation
In a bowl, mix the meat, egg, garlic, jalapeƱo and season with salt and pepper.

With your hands form about 12 meatballs and place on a plate and put them in the refrigerator.

In a bowl mix the juice and grated orange peel, honey and soy sauce and reserve.

In a frying pan on medium high heat, add the olive oil and when it is hot put the meatballs and cook for about 2 minutes.

Being careful not to break the meatballs, flip them and add the orange and honey sauce. Cook for 2 minutes.

Reduce the heat and simmer for another minute.

Remove the meatballs from the skillet, and stir with a spatula so the sauce keeps the flavor.

Put the sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle with cilantro.

Serve immediately.
