Grilled Shrimp Tacos with Cilantro Sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings
For the cilantro sauce
¾ cup of mayonnaise (I used Hellman’s)
2 garlic cloves, peeled
1 cup of cilantro leaves washed and dried
½ teaspoon of ground cumin
1 pinch ground allspice
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Red pepper flakes to taste

Preparation
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until a smooth and creamy.

For the tacos
8 flour or corn tortillas
40 medium shrimp, cleaned, washed and dried with paper towels
1 lime cut in wedges
4 cups of your choice of lettuce, rinsed, dried and chopped

Preparation
Preheat the grill.
Place the shrimp in a bowl and sprinkle some lime juice. Let marinate for 5-10 minutes.
Grease a grilling pan and place on the grill. Add the shrimp.
Cook the shrimp for 8-10 minutes. You know the shrimp are ready when the flesh is white and the exterior is reddish. Do not overcook.
Once the shrimp are ready, place the tortillas on the grill to warm them.
Put the tortillas on individual plates and add some lettuce.
Put the shrimp over the lettuce.
Serve with cilantro sauce to taste.
